25 - 28 Aug 2007. 2 countries in 3 days? No worries! :) Early morning flight into Kaunas (Lithuania), took a taxi to Vilnius where we stayed for a night. Bus to Riga, Latvia the next afternoon then flew out the next night. Lots of church action, hearty food and pretty good beer.
After a (very) early morning flight, leaving your debit card in the ATM at the airport and having to get a taxi for the 100km trip to the city because the bus didn't turn up... you've just gotta put things right with a big ol' pint of Svyturys :)
